Rietvallei was established in 1980 as a supplier of Kikuyu lawn, based in Johannesburg (Jhg) in Gauteng. It grew by time and started supplying plants and trees to the landscaping  industry. The demand of landscaping and general construction become higher in such a way that Rietvallei started engaging into Landscaping and Garden maintenance and Sports field maintenance. Alongside renovations of town houses and general construction was adopted.
Now Rietvallei Kikuyu is one of the recognized suppliers of instant lawn, trees, ground covers, and building materials to the construction industry. It has grown up in such a way that it has different departments and affiliates, hence the birth of Rietvallei Group. With the variety of our products that is in our nursery, farms and warehouses, whereby we stock all types of indigenous plants, grass like Kikuyu instant lawn, shade over, bay view , garden tools and building materials we find ourselves satisfying all of our customers.
